>> Leonard R. Janis, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Janis has nearly 40 years of experience in all aspects of Foot and Ankle Treatment.
He is a Podiatric Surgeon, an Educator, an Author and a Lecturer.

Dr. Janis is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and has been in practice in Columbus, Ohio since 1973. He is married with three children and four grandchildren. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine where he was Associate Professor of Biomechanics and Orthopedics. He is residency trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons and is a member of the Ohio Podiatry Institute at Grant Medical Center.
Dr. Janis teaches foot and ankle surgery for OhioHealth’s Podiatric Surgical Residency Program and for the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Janis lectures extensively, and has published numerous scientific articles. He has been guest editor for Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and was selected as one of eight doctors nationally to be an FDA investigator for total ankle replacement. Dr. Janis is the Director of the Foot and Ankle Fellowship Foundation, Inc.
